2011: The year that could have been

With all the hubbub over the latest UFC headline fight getting turned on it’s head, I thought it might be fun to go back and look at all the fights that only went on in a different quantum dimension where it’s participants stayed healthy. I’m curious as to whether this recent rash of injuries coincides much with UFC’s decision to start covering the medicals for injuries sustained during training. Didn’t that start just a few months ago?
    Any chance there’s a correlation?
One thing’s for sure. Joe Silva’s earning his scratch.

I agree with (long time no see) Garp.  Now that guys can afford to treat their medical issues without taking a riskier fight we’re seeing more guys try to come in at 100% than ever before.

Or they’re trying not to juice and getting injured more or not not treating their injuries with said aforementioned juice.

Guys..let’s face it..this guy Velasquez is a fuckin beast,I just think he is the new Fedor, anyone is scraed to fight him, because it seems he can’t be beat, right now and for the years to come at least,he has no holes in his game,he is so young, and hits fuckin hard and never gas,and the mexican win or die mentality makes him really dangerous, and his strength is something to be worried about too,the wrestling is top notch, the chin is made of granite.Cain will beat anyone, Overroid too, easy.
