Welcome to another episode of the Low Blow! We tried to do something a tiny bit different this week, and we’ve broken the show up into two parts: the first which is all news news cutting edge news! And then the second part which is all UFC 109. Ho-lee crap, it’s practically like two episodes in one!

So what did we talk about? UFC 112 being held in freakin’ Ferarri World, the NFL fining some football coach for flipping MMA fans the bird, the WEC’s May PPV aspirations, Strikeforce’s big business weekend, and more. On the UFC 109 side, we go through the list of undercard fighters staring down the barrel of unemployment, and of course go through all the main card fights too. One hour and ten minutes of podcasting goodness.

Here’s a special Strikeforce Miami post event radio show for y’all. We go over the televised card and debate whether Herschel Walker’s white belt fight made MMA look good and wonder what’s the point in building  guys like him and Bobby Lashley up when they’re not liable to beat anyone noteworthy, ever.

Also discussed: Robbie Lawler pulling out the hail mary, Cris Cyborg pummeling Marloes Coenen, and Nick Diaz showing that arm length does matter. And to wrap things up we took a couple questions from the chat and tweetosphere. 55 minutes of Miami tuna.

Subo and Rodriguez bring you some exciting/apathetic/apocalyptic news (depending on whether you like us/don’t care/are Anrgy China), take a look at the UFC Heavyweight picture and break down the Strikeforce card. So as you know we typically try to release Low Blows on Tuesday, but because the show we recorded last night sucked ass we decided to trash it and start all over again with more beer. And I’m happy to inform you that the second time was a charm!

In this one hour episode we talk about Brock Lesnar’s miraculous return, his shitting on the Canadian health care system (sorry, we’re socialist pigs to the core so you know what to expect here), Frank Mir getting another crack at the belt, and interim belts being given out like candy on Halloween before Halloween was largely killed by neurotic parents fearing stranger danger.

Past Brock, we examine UFC 108’s horrific 275,000 PPV buys, Fabricio Werdum probably fighting Fedor, whether Bobby Lashley and Herschel Walker have completely overshadowed all the awesome fights on Strikeforce’s Miami card, and what we think of the co-promotion vs one superleague debate. Last but not least we talk a little about selling out and the latest tv pilot filming segment (totally unrelated topics, mind you).
