Affliction jumps the shark

    Jumps the shark?

    Are you kidding me?

Bill Fucking Shatner repping their gear is not jumping the shark. It’s the single most awesome thing that has ever happened in the history of Affliction. Getting the official Shatner seal of approval is a huge win for them.

Also, Shatner is 100% correct about who wins the eye candy battle. Nichelle Nichols, Grace Lee Whitney, and the rotating crop of guest star hotties blow Carrie Fisher out of the water.

This headline arrived about 3 or 4 years too late.

Star Trek vs Star Wars… years and years of good tv shows and like 4-5 good movies vs maybe 2-3 good movies.

  • Jarman

^agreed. not really much of a competition, is it?

  • steve4192

To be fair, Star Wars wins the battle of animated shows. The animated Star Trek show was awful.

  • DJ ThunderElbows

I have to start wearing Affliction now.

Even a Star Wars fan can’t deny deep down that Shatner is right.

The sad truth about the Star Wars universe is that the best material to come from the franchise are mainly non Lucas endeavors, that unfortunatley happen to be the novels, comics and animated series.

Where as most of Star Treks best work is on tv and film. As good as the original 3 films are the prequels sour the whole damn thing. Neither franchise is without its faults but goddamn when I think back on Jar Jar Binks….ugh its the worst.

    But yes, I agree.

I’ll take Vaginr over light sabers anyday.
