Another reality show on tap

The ‘golden age’ of MMA companies trying to compete with the UFC might be ending soon. But I have a feeling there’s one thing we’ll never stop seeing: more reality MMA shows. Here’s the latest one:

Top UK female Rosi Sexton is getting over the collapse of the EliteXC organisation by heading to a 5-star tropical paradise and training a women’s MMA team.

The project is part of new reality television show which will see Sexton and rival coach Cesar Gracie pitting their 8-woman teams against each other.

Auditions for a place on the US team are in progress, and Warrior Promotions (who manage UFC fighter Dan Hardy, among others) are inviting candidates for the UK team to contact them.

If this actually comes together and gets on TV, it could be interesting. Cesar Gracie is a fucking psycho – not Ryan Gracie level but he’s definitely a hothead who would create a nice amount of drama. I don’t know too much about Rosi but I love women’s MMA and I love british accents. Add them together and it’s fap time deluxe. I just have to make sure I leave one hand free to try and block Cesar out of any shots.
