Steroids didn't give me the believe that I am the baddest fm on this planet

While he awaits his hearing in front of the Nevada Athletic Commission, Jon Jones isn’t remaining silent.
On Twitter late Monday night, Jones unleashed several messages against those who have been critical of him in recent interviews, including current UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and challenger Anthony Johnson.
“That’s right light heavyweight division, this means I got in that (expletive) fair and square. I heard your interviews,” Jones wrote. “Steroids didn’t give me the believe that I am the baddest fm on this planet. It didn’t give me the heart to pull off victories in the last minutes of championship fights.
“Steroids will never give you a high IQ of the game. It won’t increase your awareness or your timing. It won’t make you more technical. It didn’t give me the idea to set my mind to a goal, to follow my dreams and bust my (expletive) every day in the gym.”
Earlier this year, Jones tested positive for a banned substance in a test ahead of UFC 200. He was scheduled to headline the card opposite Cormier to unify the belts after winning the interim title vs. Ovince Saint Preux. Jones is scheduled to appear before the NAC next week.
“I know that I’ve earned every inch of my success, every match ever won,” he wrote. “Earning this high place in sports gives me the confidence and courage to know that I can do the same in my life.”
The legal team for Jones has already stated the test was incorrect due to a contaminated substance being found.
