Best headliner in a while. I never thought I’d get so excited about WMMA. Jacare ‘s crazy use of the cage was great. I can see this coming into play more and more as fighters figure out new and inventive ways to use the cage to their advantage.
The only real downer was Smith and Thomson’s perfomances being a bit dull.

Funny how she called out Tate for getting in her face then wanting a fine, I agree that was weak sauce. Tate should have swallowed mmmmm her pride and tapped. Great fight to watch.
Thompson’s fight was painful to watch. If he gets a title shot after that it tells you all you need to know about Strikeforce and their paper thin roster.

I’ve felt bad watching Smith’s last few fights he just looks like a punching bag. I was happy this one ended sooner than later. I have no desire to watch him fight anymore. Thanks for the mammories.

Tate choked big time. Whether its Carano or Tate, it seems like when the girls face true adversity, their training goes out the window and they start brawling like street fighters. Tate clocked Ronda pretty good, but underestimated her big time. Ronda must be laughing out how easily she got in her head and lead to the easy takedowns. Tate needed to keep her distance and take Ronda into deeper waters.

Yeah, I did mean to take the fight to the second round. When Tate got in striking range, her combos went out the window. Ronda may have got a hold of her later, but Tate should have at least made it harder and not play right into Rousey’s gameplan. And no, I don’t see men lose their composure as badly as the women do. Tate is suppose to be the women’s champion. Not some amateur scrub.
