Eddie Alvarez vs. Michael Chandler II Was Da Bomb-Diggity

In case you missed it (and since it’s not the UFC, many of you probably did), Bellator had their biggest show ever last night. And though on paper the match-ups were stellar and promised action, when the big names hit the cage, it turned into a UFC 33-esque suckfest of decisions and depression. But then Eddie Alvarez and Michael Chandler stepped up to do their thing, and as rematches go, this one was da bomb-diggity. Imagine the epic-ness of their first meeting, add a ton more face trauma and brutality, and provide us with an outcome that guarantees another visit to the Violence Buffet. That’s what Bellator 106‘s main event provided for us. Yeah, it was awesome.

You used “da bomb-diggity” two too many times in this post.

Please refrain in the future or I’ll be forced to notify the proper authorities.

Epic-ness is also borderline, but lets start with the most immediate issue first.
