Even 15 minutes of fighting cannot extinguish the flames of female hatred

They almost fought at the weigh ins so it seems fitting that Felice Herrig and Heather Jo Clark almost fought again … after their fight was over. Yep, Miss Clark couldn’t resist pulling a Daley and swinging at Felice after Miss Herrig shared some parting words after the bell. I assume it was something along the lines of “I respect you as a fighter and a person.”

I know this is just one fight and you can’t pin stereotypes across all of WMMA, but it seems to me like women just hate harder and fiercer than men do. I’m kinda scared at the prospect of Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate coaching TUF together … it might just give unpopular teenage girls PTSD. Are MMA fans really prepared for the kind of evil shit women say and do to each other when they’re enemies?

Oh we do hate harder. WE DO.

That’s why it’s called sportsmanship and not sportswomanship.

I don’t think they are worse per se. I just don’t think that they have had a long history of formalized fight tradition. Or at least it hasn’t been inculcated into womens fighting yet. Once they internalize the pattern of turning it off like a lot of men have, I think they will be fine. Which will probably happen when they have more women team mates/coaches.

interested to see how Bellator handles this

    daddy issues.

Tell both of them that the other called her a slut and fucked her old man and it would be to the death. Ariel could make it happen.

Herrig said in the press that Clark had been talking shit before the fight but all I saw was Herrig acting like an instigating bitch at the weigh in and then pretty disrespectful in this situation too. Scream in someone’s face like that and you deserve to get slapped, imo.

The gal who did the punk-ass Tate-shoving added a Daley at the end? Not surprised. Disappointed, but not surprised.

Wait, Kiki McGraw’s a woman? That explains a lot.

Those women in the gif could not throw a decent punch between them to save their fucking lives.
