Confirming that Strikeforce has completely run out of ideas when it comes to booking Gilbert Melendez, they’ve set Gil up versus Josh Thomson for the third time in 4 years. He does not sound very impressed.

In a story that seems quaint now compared to all the real drama going on, Dana White will something something with soccer somebodies to promote the return of peaceful UFC / soccer relations.

Not only was there a Kimo comedy roast, but the whole thing was filmed and put up on youtube. If you like watching awkward stand-up comedians make lazy jokes about steroids (it’s practically what we do here), then this is for you.

Here’s a freakshow fight of titanic proportions: Bob Sapp will be taking on Poland’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski. This fight would excite me more if Bob hadn’t already cemented his reputation for giving up after the first punch to the face.

Nick Diaz will be expanding his post-MMA career extra-curricular activities to jiu jitsu superfights as he takes on Braulio Estima  at the World Jiu Jitsu Expo on May 12th. Thiago Alves blames himself for his last-second loss to Martin Kampmann.  Ahaha, that’s funny. No he doesn’t. He blames his newly unemployed jiu jitsu coach.

Jason Mayhem Miller and Chael Sonnen declare twitter war on each other in entertaining fashion. Makes me sad we never got that TUF season.
