Former Bellator Champs In Action This Friday Night

Bellator MMA returns to Spike TV and the cage this Friday night with Bellator 133: Shlemenko vs. Manhoef.

From the Save Mart Center in Fresno, the main card airs on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET with a headline fight between former champion Alexander Shlemenko (51-9) and Melvin Manhoef (29-12-1).

Also, ex-Bellator titleholder Pat Curran (20-6) tries to get back into contention when he faces Daniel Weichel (34-8). The other televised fights feature Julia Budd (6-2) vs. Gabrielle Holloway (4-1) and Chris Honeycutt (5-0) taking on Clayton MacFarlane (4-0).

    I heard Shlemenko had hands on him.
    And doing that to Manhoef seems to bouy that suggestion.

    I was dissapointed when he went down so quick against tito.
    It seems as if he’s mostly hands and can win a certain type of matchup.

    After taking a look at that fight,
    Shlemekno is WAY to sloppy to last against an average ufc level dude.

    And Manhoef is Manhoef.
    There is a reason he was never scooped up.

    It was a fun fight to watch though.
    In that bonner/griffen way.

    And Coker knows that.
