Holy MMA, Batman!

Part two of Bloody Elbow’s Batman / martial arts / MMA expose is up and as worthy of a read as the first one. And for you nerds with your Batman underoos in a twist regarding that ‘spoiler’ from last time: relax. I have no idea what happens at the end of the movie, other than some crazy person might bust into the theater and try to murder you.

You still wrecked it for everyone b/c no matter what happens now, it will be a letdown. THANKS A LOT RYAN!!

    Fuck bloody elbow.

btw way i have no idea if bruce wayne dies or not… i just used logic and deductive reasoning, something severely lacking in our society.

And speaking of the shooter too bad the 71 year old guy who foiled the robber attempt at the internet cafe wasnt a batman fan

  • mobius

    why didn’t batman intervene?

    spoiler: he’s not real!

  • frickshun

^^YOU’RE AN ASSHOLE!! Why would you spoil it for me?? I’m never coming back to again.

  • agentsmith

I bet the shooter was screaming “NO FUCKING SPOILERS!” the whole time.

Fun fact: One of the victims survived a shooting up here in Toronto six weeks ago.  “Final Destination” is real!!!!!!!!!!11

For the record, Ryans fake spoiler surprised me, Clints DID NOT.

Anybody who has been paying attention to Nolans interpretation for the batman universe has seen the progression and evolution of Batman and the slow motion destruction of Bruce Wayne.
Batman Begins = Batman becomes the hero Gotham City, Bruce Wayne lose his family mansion.
The Dark Knight = Batman saves Gotham again but since he can’t be everywhere at once the he loses two people, one close to him the other a major political figure in gotham, he then takes a murder rap to protect the image of said public figure . Bruce Wayne loses his gal pal and is visibly drained from strain of living a double life
The Dark Knight Rises…I have yet to see but judging by how every new chapter emboldens the mythos of Batman but is detrimental to the mind behind the mask, its safe to assume that Nolan will keep Batman around…but things are not looking good for Bruce Wayne.

Just got back from watching it, pretty damn good. Well played Mr. Nolan, well played.

I just finished litnnsieg to your 1939 Year-in-Review episode and I absolutely loved it. Wrapping up the year in Batman and incorporating real-life events, entertainment highlights, and music of the era was a brilliant idea. As someone with an interest in history, particularly the mid-20th century, I may be a little biased, but regardless, I’m looking forward to many more Years-in-Review . Along with your regular episodes, of course. Keep up the great work. It’s been motivating me to open up my Golden Age Batman books again.
