After two years of being dogged by allegations he has hepatitis, Aleksander Emelianenko has finally decided he might want to counter those stories with some evidence to the contrary. The image above is the results of a hepatitis test he had done done by some Italian clinic and according to it, he’s clean – although I do wonder what’s up with the blip on his Hepatitis B serological markers.
Now I know what you’re thinking. You don’t trust Italian clinics, which I can totally understand since Amurica is number 1 in health awesomeness and Europe is TOTALLY sketchy in that area. Plus there’s no way to tell between a real test result and a totally bogus one – the reason I assume my doctor’s note assuring women the rash on my penis is just a rash never seems to work. But I think we can agree that no one WANTS Aleks to have the hep, and this is the first solid sign that maybe he doesn’t. That’s a positive thing.
The translated release that accompanied the test is after the jump:
We deny rumors that Aleksander Emelianenko was a carrier of hepatitis. According to recent studies there is no impediment to the master can continue to fight in MMA. This also dispels the fears of skeptics about the performance of Alexander Emelianenko MMA during the November Gala Zone Walk M & As in Lodz.
We reaffirm, therefore, that Alexander Emelianenko is one of the stars of the evening and he will fight the fight night with a mysterious enemy.
Ooooh, a mysterious enemy
