Yeah thats Kid Yamamoto. Probably the only guy that could give Urijah a run for his money.
The Hideo Tokoro vs. Darren Uyenoyama fight is insane. Back and forth action. Worth watching, and the winner will probably get to fight Kid.

I think Faber would still take it – he cuts a lot to get to 145, whereas Kid walks around at that – all other things are pretty equal. Yamamoto relies on his (excellent) wrestling to keep stood up and blast away with his awesome Muay Thai but I can’t see him stopping Urijah’s shot all night.
And Overeem used to fight at 205…how the hell did he make it??

Yay Darren!! That was a great fight.
And Kid Yamamoto is so snazzy. Japanese fighters generally try to be fashionable and wear fancy shit whereas American fighters are just tacky. Tight Affliction shirts don’t count as fashion.

Overeem only used to make 205 because he was a lanky beanpole at that weight. If you compare pictures of him now with 3 years ago, the difference in the upper body is amazing.
He still can’t fight longer than 3 minutes without gassing though
