Miesha Tate tries to bring home the bacon for her boyfriend

I mentioned earlier that I thought Bryan Caraway had been screwed by the judges in his fight against Takeya Mizugaki and – shocker of shockers – Bryan’s girlfriend Miesha Tate agrees. Here she is fighting for what her man deserves on twitter:

She might find her demands falling on slightly unreceptive ears. Cesar Gracie tweeted Dana for plane ticket upgrades after Nick Diaz was a promotional pain in the ass, and now Miesha Tate asks Dana to pay her boyfriend after she was overheard in his corner telling him to ‘just coast’ through round 3. White has been extra vocal about wanting hungry warriors, guys with the desire to win and the willingness to go out and earn it. With that in mind, demanding win money after a loss during a time when the UFC has to fire a hundred people just doesn’t seem like that great of an idea.

Even though I agree with the general sentiment that the judges in Japan sucked, I thought the one who had this fight wrong was the judge who scored it for Caraway. I gave him only the second round and was flabbergasted when I heard Miesha telling Caraway he should “coast”. Which is terrible advice no matter how you think the first round should be scored, btw. Caraway most certainly doesn’t deserve his win bonus and if he was fighting at 155 or 170, he would be cut for sure. And rightfully so.
