One last gif from UFC 144

At least Rampage managed to pull off a mega slam … possibly one of the coolest slams since Kevin Randleman dumped Fedor on his head back in 2004.

  • raizor

Ouch, that looks so much worse in slow-mo. Should have been a DQ really…

  • noiseless

this move i believe is called a “spike lee joint”.

    heyyyy come on, i tried.

  • DJ ThunderElbows

    heyyyy come on, i tried.

    Golf clap

  • CAP

Looks way worse in slo-mo. Bader trying to avoid it is what landed him on his head. He said he was out of it for a while after that. A twisting pile driver will do that to ya.

  • frickshun

To be fair to Rampage, he was trying to body slam him. Bader chose to post & direct the force onto his head & arm.

BTW, one 230 lb man slamming another 230 lb man is just as bad in real speed as it is in slo mo. He got dropped w/accelerating force from 5′ in the air.

  • Blackula Jonez

Frick and his evil zionist wold bank mathmatics, stop trying to explain with beautiful sequence of violence with numbers.

  • P W

Turning and reaching out with your arm like that must be the stupidest thing you can do in that situation. Way to go if you want to break and/or dislocate something.

Are you watching the same gif?  Bader didn’t change the direction one bit, Rampage spiked him on his head, period.

  • iamphoenix

^except for the part where bader looked back and posted his arm out but other than that right on.

  • CAP

If CB Dollaway would have taken that hampster out of his ass he wouldn’t have been so squirly and gotten dumped on his big head. Page was going for a body slam but Bader made matters worse trying to get out of it resulting with that head plant. Hard to fault Rampage here.

These things happen in gay porn. oops wrong post.

  • Reverend Clint

I blame gayder for turning into it.

  • DJ ThunderElbows

Posting that arm saved his neck.  Rampage let go with his left which would be needed to guide Bader’s head inward instead of driving it downward with his right arm.

First thing I learned during the one month I thought I’d be a pro wrestler.

  • frickshun

First dumb thing I’ve heard Smith say in a looong while.

  • theinsaneoneJustinMcCully

Rampage was trying to spike him on the back of the neck, the taste of fetus killing wet his appetite

  • Reverend Clint

Im with frick. Rampage is no marqurdt. Of u watch bader basically lets go and falls head first while trying to post with his arm

  • glassjawsh

eff love Black on Both Sides. absolutely brilliant album.

i retrospect, it would’ve been better for rampage’s career had he just gotten DQ’d for this

  • iamphoenix

i just watched it a few more times on constant replay.

OFFICIAL RULING: Bader let go of rampage’s back, looked at the mat and posting his arm out which in turn created a worse slam point. If he had held on to rampage the impact would have been his top of the shoulder down to the bottom of his shoulder blade area.

Smif loses a timeout and a challenge. He has one remaining.

    15 yard penalty for stupidity.

  • Letibleu

    smith trolling? really?

  • frickshun

Also, Frankie WON. Entire MMA community…..stop trolling me, bro!!

  • agentsmith

It’s plain as day, kids.  Look at the angle Bader was already at before his hand touched the mat.  He was gonna land on his head regardless.

  • iamphoenix

i can’t tell if you’re being serious anymore but it doesn’t matter. I have already made my ruling. the first frame is already after bader let go of rampage. your pictures are deceiving.

  • Reverend Clint

smith is the fox news of jackals

  • Blackula Jonez

    Agent OF RUPERT MURDOCK Smith

  • frickshun

Smith is trolling. How much did Rampage get paid by WOWOWOWOW to perfectly position them on that banner before he gave us a gif that will be seen 2 million times at least?

  • agentsmith

So you figure Bader would have magically landed on his feet if he hadn’t stuck his arm out?

I’m starting to think you’re the one trolling.  Bader was already upside down before his hand even touches, it’s as obvious as the nose on your face.

  • frickshun

Smithers–>Bader was going to get slammed on his shoulder blade AS PHOENIGGURZ said already. He CHOSE to twist around like a cat would do when falling from heights in the hopes of catching himself. That’s pretty much the way people break their arms trying to “catch” themselves on the dash board during car accidents.

Next you’ll say the Arona slam was a badly executed spike that should have been a DQ.

  • iamphoenix

    i like phoeniggurz lol

  • agentsmith

Frick, Bader’s head is clearly way below the level of his shoulder in that pic.  He’s pretty much straight up and down, there’s no goddamn way he would have landed on his shoulder.

Anyway, I grow weary of trying to point out the obvious to you people.

  • DJ ThunderElbows

I like that you say Bader let go of Rampage.  I thought you were the one who’s taken BJJ, Fenix .  I htought BJJers get an intro on judo throws in their school.

  • Reverend Clint

You conviently choose as pic for your first one thats a good second into tje slam. had you picled a few fres before that you would see bader not tryinv to post his arm.

  • frickshun

    ^^Agrlrd.

  • agentsmith

No, that pic is a frame or two before his hand touches mat.

  • Reverend Clint

U still dont get it. This would be like showing a pic of jfk in his ar then show him slouched in his seat and saying see there was a 2nd gunman.

  • agentsmith

    How’s this then:

First pic is just as Bader lets go of Rampage, note that he’s still in the same position relative to Rampage’s body in the 2nd pic.  It’s not like it’s a pile driver either way, I’m just saying he would have hit his head even if he’d hung on.

  • frickshun

    Hahahahaha…..this is high-larious!!

  • Letibleu

This isnt a real arguement right? Right??

Bade let go of Jackson and twisted his torso counter clockwise towards the ground. He also reached out and posted as he looked towards the ground. At this point his positioning of his head is of his doing and not rampage twisting his torso. Bader could have dont nothing and the hold Jackson had on him would have caused his upper shoulders/mid back to make contact first. Instead, Bader turned his torso and posted which came close to finishing things right there. We almost saw a reenactment of the shogun post.

    Also, the world has:

304 million Lakes in the world at least 0.1 hectares (one-quarter acre) in area
27 million Lakes one hectare (2.5 acres) or greater in size
17 Lakes larger than 10,000 sq km (3,861 sq miles)
    1

Lake over 100,000 sq km (38,610 sq miles)

  • Reverend Clint

clearly rampage is following the same path as he had been and not piviting his torso in such a way as to twist bader into the positon he is in. Bader is doing it to himself.

  • agentsmith

^ They’re still pressed together and Rampage is still holding him with both hands, so their paths aren’t independent.  Bader rotating his upper torso just made him land on the side of his head and shoulder instead of the back of his head and shoulder blades.

And besides, trying to split hairs and blame it on Bader is bullshit.  Rampage could have just slammed Bader sideways on his back, but instead he used his right knee to flip Bader upside down.  So it’s not like he didn’t intend for Bader to land on his head.

Anyways, I’m done.  That’s enough arguing on the internets for one day.
