Strikeforce’s Houston show looks shweeeet

Strikeforce’s next big show is on August 21st and it looks like Coker and the gang are hard at work putting together the lineup. Here’s some of the fights that are being floated for the show:

King Mo vs Rafael Feijao: This fight just goes to show you shouldn’t try to twist people’s arms when you’ve got the strength of a little girl. Babalu will NOT be fighting his buddy Mo and instead it will be Anderson Silva protege Rafael Feijao getting the call. The only downside of all this is when he wins that means no Feijao in the UFC for a while.

Tim Kennedy vs Jacare: War vet Kennedy gets a chance to prove he can hang with the big dawgs. I’ve got big hopes for this one turning into a jitz and scramble heavy fight but knowing my luck lately it’ll end up being a bad kickboxing fight.

KJ Noons vs Jorge Gurgel: If Jorge is smart enough to use even a fraction of his jiu jitsu skills, then KJ Noons is in big trouble. In other words, Noons will be fine.

Sergei Kharitonov vs Bigfoot Silva: It’s like PRIDE all over again, but with less drugs involved.

All in all, a great card from top to bottom. I’m sure Bobby Lashley will ruin the streak by facing some garbage opponent. Or maybe not … is Showtime even capable of fitting more than 4 fights into a broadcast?
