The Count of MonteFisto???

Now I don’t want to go off too hard on another website, especially one I like. We were pretty mean to Danny Acosta last week for waxing poetic on Lyoto Machida, and I typically like to space my oh so witty site-related barbs out a bit more to avoid total relationship meltdowns on a Caplan-sized scale.

But MMA Madness has been putting together some inadvertently very funny titles for their interviews lately, so I just can’t resist pointing some of them out. The only thing harder than creating interesting MMA news is figuring out an interesting headline to go along with it. These ones are pretty damn interesting, but in more of a ‘ha-ha’ kind of way.

My personal favorites are the Drew Fickett and Kimbo Slice ones. Although it was the Count of MonteFisto that drove me over the edge and made me write this post. Or maybe I’m just more irritable lately? My period must be right around the corner. Aw, just in time for UFC83 too. No sex for me that weekend, unless someone wants to earn their red wings.

If you want to buy MMA Madnes, it’s for sale:

But all the good writers already left and I’m pretty sure all the numbers there are a lie…

The Count of Montefisto sounds like a porn.

Doesn’t it mean like his dad or something was a count?? And that’s why he’s micheal the “count” bisping??

  • Omomatta

I don’t think Apollo Creed would be very happy with that reference.

  • garth

i think he just recently learned to count.

I don’t even know how “in through the out door” could have a non-porn reference.
