TUF 15 washout beats TUF 2 winner

Dakota Cochrane, best known for being the gay-for-pay fighter who didn’t make it into last season’s TUF Live house, is working hard to get his career back on track after the TUF thing and two losses. And while beating a guy who’s been fighting since 1999 might not prove much, having a win over Joe Stevenson on your resume still looks pretty good.

This is Joe’s fifth loss in a row, and the first since he’s left the UFC. Motivation might be a factor as Joe Daddy doesn’t even seem to be trying that hard any more. He missed making lightweight by 5 pounds and immediately said whatevs:

Cochrane said he received 25 percent of Stevenson’s purse for the infraction.

“It aggravated me a little bit that he didn’t even try (to make weight a second time),” Cochrane said. “He was four pounds over, and he walked off the scale drinking a bottle of water.”

Good for Dakota though, as I’m sure Joe Daddy still gets paid way more. And considering what Cochrane has done for money in the past, this is probably the least uncomfortable bonus he’s ever earned.

I would’ve called this post “Who’s your Daddy?” but that’s just me.

^^Ryan went with the “Who’s the least creative guy in the world? I AM!!” approach.

The headline alone for this article is a frightening testament to the evolution of this sport.

Granted Joe Daddy is a bit past his prime, but even still, wow.
